On Friday 7th December 2018, Sheringham Woodfields School held its annual craft fayre. This year the school decided to run it on a Friday so that all pupils could have the opportunity to take part.
In the run up to the Fayre, all classes made various craft and gift items including tree decorations, badges, cakes and other sweet treats and festive slime! These were sold on stall manned by the pupils, with a prize being awarded to the class with the best sales income.
The Fayre was open to families, friends and members of the public and it was lovely to see so many people come and support our event.
The Fayre raise £1550.00 with a further wave of income still to be received on some pre-ordered items yet to be paid for.
The money will be deposited within the Friends of Sheringham Woodfields School; the schools charitable arm, and used to support the new Sensory integration studio within the new Therapy Centre (planned for late 2019).
The Friends of Sheringham Woodfields School would like to thank all that supported the event. Particular thanks must go to Sue and Scott from Tesco’s for giving up their day to help run the very busy (and popular) Tombola. Thank you to everyone who donated time, money and/or gifts towards or at the event.
