Financial transparency of local authority maintained schools and academy trusts has recently gone through a period of consultation with regards to new aspects of managing finance within schools. The consultation and review which ran late 2019, sought the views of LAs, maintained schools and other interested organisations or individuals. As a result from 1st January 2021, all schools are required to publish the following information on their website:

All LA maintained schools will be required to publish on their websites the number of individuals (if any) earnings over £100k in £10k bandings

At present there are no members of staff that receive over £100k

All LA maintained schools will be required to publish a link to the schools financial benchmarking website, where the Consistent Financial Reporting (CFR) statement of income, expenditure and balances are already published.
