The school receives an allocation of money from the government in connection with the Year 7 catch up premium. The premium provides schools with an additional £500 for each year 7 pupil who did not achieve at least level 4 in reading and/or maths at the end of key stage 2 (Year 6).
This year we have used the funds to support the work of Hannah Whiting our lead for Boosting Achievement and Inclusion.
This includes individual interventions for each of the relevant pupils, including advice and training to staff and additional resources.
The impact of these interventions will be reported at the end of Summer 2018 when we have completed our analysis of pupil progress
