Hello and welcome to The Governing Body page at Sheringham Woodfields School. Below you will find information on our members and downloads of statutory publications.
If you are interested in becoming a Governor at Sheringham Woodfields School, please contact the Clerk to Governors via 01263 820520. We are keen to hear from anyone wishing to contribute and support the school.
No Governor has any business or pecuniary interest in the school (as declared in September 2026).
The Governing Board in any school supports the Head teacher and school leaders in strategic leadership (planning to ensure the school is always doing the best it can for children, young people and their families), to fulfil statutory responsibilities (using appropriate laws and guidance) and to act as a critical friend to the Head teacher. The Governing Board do this by delegating, as detailed in the terms of reference, to:
- Resource Committee
- Curriculum, Attendance and Behaviour Committee
The Full Governing Board meets a minimum of 3 times per Academic Year. The committees meet at least termly.
